Sage HRand Payroll sets out growth strategy at annual partner conference

01 January 2015

Sage HR & Payroll’s top performing business partners from around the African continent recently gathered at the company’s Annual Business Partner Conference held at The Legends Zebra Country Lodge in Pretoria to hear about the company’s product roadmaps and strategy for the year ahead.

The theme of the conference was “Growing Together as One”, and business partners learnt about how Sage HR & Payroll plans to work with the partner ecosystem to position itself as one of the continent’s leading payroll and HR solution providers. Sage HR & Payroll also used the event as a platform to introduce new solutions such as Sage HR Management to the market.

“We were delighted by the support we received from our expanding business partner community for this event,” says Gerhard Hartman, head of department of Sage HR & Payroll’s International Division.

“With growing regulatory demands and rising competition from global players, we are seeing enormous demand for automated HR and payroll solutions across the continent. At our annual conference, we spoke to our partner community about how we can address this growing market together.”

Hartman says that with the launch of Sage HR Management and the recently announced availability of Sage VIP People Payroll HRIS in countries such as Kenya and Nigeria, Sage HR & Payroll has a product suite that covers the needs of all African businesses from SMEs to large enterprises.

Sage Pastel Partner Payroll is an intuitive and easy to implement solution for start-up and small businesses; Sage VIP Premier Payroll & HRM offers medium sized businesses an integrated package that covers all their HR and payroll requirements; and Sage VIP People Payroll & HRIS is developed specifically for large businesses that need more detailed and complex functionalities.

Sage HR Management, meanwhile, is a powerful human resources management solution that combines broad HR functionality, simplicity and flexibility to help large enterprises gain efficiency on HR processes. It is available either as a standalone product or a module that integrates with Sage ERP X3.

The event was also an opportunity for business partners to network by sharing experiences such as shebeen evenings and game drives. At the Black Tie Awards, Sage HR & Payroll gave recognition to the top performing business partners for their achievements and revenue growth during the previous year. Acknowledgements were also given in the following new categories: Rookie of the Year, Training Service Provider and Customer Service Excellence.
