Document Manager - Classroom

Course Outline

This course comprehensively covers the functionality of Document Manager. 

We will look at the various ways of importing documents into Document Manager, creating letters using the mail merge facility, using the "Watch Directory" to import scanned documents and also collate multiple documents into a single document. 

This course will also show you how to customise Document Manager to suit your practice by creating your own filing cabinets, draws and folders and how to personalize the module to suit each user. Advanced features such as version control, categories and sharing documents are also addressed. 

The practical examples are designed to approximate work-place situations in order to make the skills learnt easily applicable to your practice.  

On completion of this course, you should be able to do the following:
  • Import existing documents. 
  • Create mail merge documents. 
  • Scan documents and save these electronically. 
  • Search the database to find documents 
  • Use document version control 
  • Share documents between clients 
  • Create category folders
