(August 12, 2015)Sage North America, a leading provider of business management software and services to small and medium-sized businesses, announced today the availability of a seamless, two-way integration between Sage 50 Accounting–Canadian Edition (formerly Simply Accounting), the desktop accounting software product preferred by Canadian accounting professionals for small businesses, and Sage One cloud solution.

New and existing Sage 50 Accounting customers can receive access to additional cloud-based capabilities, such as a mobile app, bank feeds, online invoicing and expense management. These features—powered by Sage One—will enable Sage 50 Accounting users to complete everyday bookkeeping tasks with greater ease and convenience, whether inside or outside of the office.

The integration enables Sage 50 customers to easily transfer transaction files such as invoices and expenses from Sage One into Sage 50. In addition, it facilitates the data synchronization of customers, vendors, products and services between the two software solutions and simplifies the setup of Sage One for customers with existing Sage 50 data.

Customers can also choose to go a step further by moving their Sage 50 data to Sage Drive, a cloud storage service that will provide customers and their bookkeepers with access to the most current versions of company files from anywhere at any time.

The new hybrid cloud accounting option can benefit the 14,000 Sage Accountants Network partners across Canada as well, helping to save significant time and resources by automating access to their clients’ most current data.
