Sage Summit Tour in Paris and survey on digital transformation
Sage Summit Paris in November 2016 was attended by 2000 entrepreneurs and businesses for two days of inspirational presentations and valuable networking opportunities.
At the summit Sage revealed research that showed French businesses had embarked on their journey towards digital transformation and over one third felt that digital transformation should be at the heart of the 2017 election campaign. Although most directors find it hard to assess the consequences of the Macron and El Khomri laws for their business, around half of directors worried that the electoral period would have a negative impact on French businesses in general. More than one in four even expect that their own companies will be impacted.
With the acceleration in the digitisation of the economy, the advent of m-commerce and competitive pressure, business owners' attention is refocusing on the consumer. Digital transformation is no longer an option for businesses; it has become a critical issue for SMEs and mid-market companies that need to stand out as being competitive.
