By Air
Newcastle upon Tyne has an international airport with regular services from Europe plus numerous connections from within the UK. From Newcastle Airport it is a 5 –10 minute taxi journey. Please ask for Sage on the Great Park site.
By Rail
Travel to Newcastle Central Station and take a taxi from outside the station, the journey will take approximately 15 – 25 minutes depending upon traffic. Please ask for Sage on the Great Park site.
Travel by Road
From the South on A1(M):
Approach Newcastle on the A1(M). As you pass Granada (Washington) services fork left, following signs for A1 Newcastle/Gateshead. DO NOT follow A194(M) Tyne Tunnel route.
Follow A1(M) for 10 miles:
After passing the exit marked City North/ Gosforth, signs will appear for Wideopen/Killingworth A1056. Leave the A1(M) at the A1056 exit. You will descend to a roundabout, take the first exit marked Great Park.
From the North on A1(M):
Approach Newcastle on the A1(M) following signs for Newcastle Centre, not the Tyne Tunnel. Leave the A1(M) at the exit marked City (North/Gosforth B1318). You will descend to a roundabout. Take the 4th exit marked Great Park, this will, take you onto the Sage site.
From the West:
Approach Newcastle on the A69 and join the A1 Northbound at the intersection on the outskirts of the city. Follow the A1(M) northbound and after passing the exit marked City North/Gosforth, signs will appear for Wideopen/Killingworth A1056. Leave the A1(M) at the A1056 exit. You will descend to a roundabout, take the first exit marked Great Park.
From the City Centre:
Follow the B1318 along the Great North Road. The dual carriageway narrows on reaching Gosforth High Street. Continue straight ahead approximately 2.5 miles (You will pass Regent Centre Metro station), go straight over the roundabout at Asda, straight over the roundabout at the Three Mile Inn Public House and straight over the next roundabout until you come to the large main roundabout under the A1(M). Take the second exit at this roundabout, taking you onto the Great Park site.
