The Layout Generator (previously called the Excel Genie) is an easy to use interface that automates the designing and the generation of layouts for financial reports. It provides a wizard-like interface to assist the quick and accurate making of these layouts within Excel.
For those who are not that familiar with Excel, the Task Pane provides a 100% reporting experience and enhances it by allowing dynamic access to the data in the General Ledger. You start with a blank sheet and simply drag the Reporting Trees, data lists, or formulas to make your report.
