E-commerce is on the rise in South Africa. According to recent research conducted by Ipsos on behalf of FNB and Paypal, 22% of South African Internet users have made purchases online, and 48% expect to do so in the future.
A group of 45 Sage Foundation volunteers recently spent the morning at Little Rose Children’s Centre in Kliptown, Soweto to hand Christmas gifts to the children. The Little Rose Centre is a safe haven for vulnerable children from the Kliptown informal settlement community.
