COVID-19 - Coronavirus

At Sage, the health and safety of our people and customers is paramount, and we have put plans in place to help protect our community, provide the best service we can and maintain business-as-usual.

Dear Sage Customer and Partner,

We recognise that the COVID-19 coronavirus presents one of the most severe challenges we’ve ever faced. This pandemic is pulling us together – as Sage colleagues, customers, partners but also as parents, families and communities.

At Sage, the health and safety of our colleagues is our first priority. We have increased the ability of Sage colleagues to work remotely without disruption. We’re also giving colleagues flexibility to look after their dependents and themselves during this challenging time. Since the outbreak of the pandemic, we have advised our colleagues to help minimise the spread of COVID-19 and put hygiene protocols in place at all our offices. We have asked all colleagues to conduct external meetings remotely, where possible, using smart technologies.

Our colleagues in Africa and the Middle East take our responsibility to serve our customers and partners very seriously. We understand that our more than 200 000 customers rely on our software and our people to power your business. The pandemic presents a threat to business as usual for all of us, and we are doing our best to function at full capacity while working remotely. We realise that this new normal may be challenging and that you may experience a delayed response from time to time. Rest assured that we are striving towards being at full capacity through our loyal, dedicated remote workforce. 

Over the past weeks, we have tested our business continuity plans, and we have a dedicated COVID-19 task team meeting and working daily to maintain the level of service you expect from us. We continue to monitor the situation closely to reduce risks for our customers, partners, and colleagues. 

We’ve also created a hub with some key information that you might find useful as you respond to the ever-changing situation. This includes information to help enable your business to work from home, our Sage Advice blog with details on how to prepare for coronavirus and useful resources from government and other official sources. We’ll keep this regularly updated, directing you to new sources of guidance as the situation changes.
