Purchase automation<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>To help you digitalise and automate low-value high-impact tasks, Sage Business Cloud Accounting now includes purchase automation. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This automatically pulls data from your purchase invoices and receipt images and creates digital records of them. This helps you track expenses and gives you a true view of cash flow. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/help.accounting.sage.com\/en-gb\/accounting\/purchase-automation\/about-purchase-automation.html?tocpath=Purchases%7CPurchase%20Automation%7C_____1\">Check out this article<\/a> to learn more.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">2. Performance and security improvements<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>The overall experience of using Sage Business Cloud Accounting is only possible because of performance and security improvements. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This includes making the core Sage Business Cloud Accounting platform more robust and scalable in key areas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This gives you an improved experience when using the software, strengthens the areas you use the most, and removes the potential for future minor incidents.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>You can now also use Multi Factor Authentication, which brings an extra level of security to your account. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This adds a step to the login experience by sending an SMS to your mobile device, meaning you can be confident your data is still secure if your password is compromised.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">3. Feature and experience enhancements<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>The following capabilities and product experiences make Sage Business Cloud Accounting even more powerful and easy to use:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Net from gross calculation<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>When you enter transactions with a known gross value, the net value will now be automatically calculated. So, you won\u2019t need to manually calculate or manipulate any values yourself. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>To learn more, check the <a href=\"https:\/\/help.accounting.sage.com\/en-gb\/accounting\/banking\/gross-to-net.html?Highlight=net%20to%20gross\">net from gross help article<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Recurring invoices<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>Recurring invoices is a much-loved feature that massively reduces data entry. Now you can sort, search, and filter a list of recurring invoices. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This allows you to quickly manage recurring invoices and save time going through tabs and lists manually.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Error and corrections<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>Now you can make changes and corrections to \u201ccleared\u201d and \u201creconciled\u201d transactions. This gives you the flexibility to get your numbers right without having to do complex workarounds. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The <a href=\"https:\/\/help.accounting.sage.com\/en-gb\/accounting\/adjustments\/landing-page-corrections-banking.html?tocpath=Adjustments%7CCorrections%7C_____2\">banking corrections help section<\/a> covers this in more detail.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Inactive contacts<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>As one of the most requested features, you can now choose which customer accounts are inactive, and they\u2019ll no longer show up in drop downs or the banking area. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This gives you a much clearer view of your accounts, saves you time on admin tasks, and reduces mistakes such as assigning invoices to the wrong customer or purchases to the wrong supplier. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Find out more about it in the <a href=\"https:\/\/help.accounting.sage.com\/en-gb\/accounting\/contacts\/inactive-contacts.html?Highlight=inactive%20contacts\">inactive contacts help section<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Banking improvements<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>General improvements now make bank feeds perform better, faster, and with more stability. &nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We\u2019re also providing more critical support for any errors or bugs you experience.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"payroll\">Sage Business Cloud Payroll updates<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">1. Salary sacrifice pensions<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>You can now process <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sage.com\/en-gb\/blog\/salary-sacrifice-pension-employer-guide\/\">salary sacrifice pensions<\/a> for your employees. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The new functionality makes it easy to set up salary sacrifice pension schemes and puts pension contributions on your payslips and reports. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Check out the <a href=\"https:\/\/help.accounting.sage.com\/en-gb\/payroll\/automatic-enrolment\/salary-sacrifice-pensions.html\">salary sacrifice pensions article<\/a> to learn how it works.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">2. Bulk payslip messages<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>You can now edit payslip messages for multiple employees at the same time. Delete employee records<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>If there are employees you\u2019ve not processed in a pay run, you can now delete their records, making information around your payroll tidier and more accurate. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Find out more in the <a href=\"https:\/\/help.accounting.sage.com\/en-gb\/payroll\/employees\/creating-employee.html\">create and edit employee records article<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">4. Add employee finish dates as a bulk action<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>When an employee leaves your company, you can now record their finish date. Minimum wage check<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>The automatic minimum wage check helps you ensure you\u2019re meeting the legal requirement for all employees. Payroll year end<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Dealing with <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sage.com\/en-gb\/blog\/payroll-year-end\/\">payroll year end<\/a>? New updates allow you to complete year-end processing, process pay, and make submissions for the new tax year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">8. Customer feedback improvements<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>There are many more improvements based directly on your feedback (a few too many to list). <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This includes the ability to override statutory payment calculations for your employees.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"become\">Go beyond great software and become a Sage member<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Don&#8217;t forget that, as a Sage customer, you get more than just great software.&nbsp;
