selecting a &#8216;long list&#8217; of no more than 7-9 per position &#8211; use a scoring matrix.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/~\/media\/markets\/uk\/images\/icons\/numbers\/sage-green-30px-5.jpg?la=en-gb&amp;hash=EB4B4AA21C8EB4F3CF245E8BCEA7B8E5B2D28209\" alt=\"5\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Review your &#8216;long list&#8217;, prepare your <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sage.com\/en-gb\/blog\/interview-questions-employers-should-ask-and-avoid\/\">interview questions<\/a> and invite those selected to a 1st stage interview &#8211;
