we\u2019ve got you covered. We\u2019ve made the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sage.com\/en-gb\/blog\/sage-accounting-head-start-brexit\/\">necessary updates<\/a> to Sage Accounting to deal with cross border trading including postponed accounting and the \u00a3135 scheme.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The software automatically applies the correct tax treatments, ensuring that your accounts and VAT Return are correct and helps reduce the burden of remembering which tax rate applies in which situation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>And for those of you in the construction industry, we\u2019ll be giving you an update shortly about the domestic reverse charges and how we\u2019ve got this covered.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In the meantime, here\u2019s some information on what you need to know about the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sage.com\/en-gb\/blog\/vat-reverse-charge-construction\/\">VAT reverse charge<\/a>, which comes into force on 1 March 2021.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"balancing-anchor-link\">Balancing customer relationships with getting paid<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Maintaining a good relationship with your customers while also managing a good cash flow can be tricky.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>By using Sage Accounting to add personalised messages to your customer invoices and statements, not only can you build on those relationships, you can also add your banking details, meaning it\u2019s possible to increase your chances of getting paid faster too.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>And with the <a href=\"https:\/\/help.accounting.sage.com\/en-gb\/accounting\/settings\/statements.html\">statement settings<\/a> now centralised you can easily update your messaging if you\u2019ve got a particular campaign or message that you want to promote or say to your customers \u2013 this will help to drive regular engagement with them.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/youtu.be\/VDluSRu6h84\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">See this new functionality in action<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"time-anchor-link\">Time-saving changes for your business<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>With so much on the go at one time, we\u2019ve improved some of the ways you navigate tasks in Sage Accounting to give you precious time back in your day. These little efficiency gains include:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Giving you a clearer view of your accounts in half the time with the option to expand the items per page to 100 rows.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Being able to quickly check that your invoice is correct and reflects your brand \u2013 you can now preview and print invoices in one simple action.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Cutting down on unnecessary navigational steps in bank feeds \u2013 you can now easily switch between accounts and banking.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/youtu.be\/nqYKtiZuKZQ\" Accounting<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Take your business to the next level, as you can now extend the automation of your admin processes beyond Accounting.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Efficiently manage duplicate transactions<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>If you\u2019re using AutoEntry to capture and categorise your financial documents, you can now gain full control over how you manage any duplicate transactions between AutoEntry and your Sage Accounting software with the new <a href=\"https:\/\/help.autoentry.com\/en\/articles\/2998187-duplicate-check-with-file-matching\">Duplicate check with File-Match<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Further visibility into your payroll<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>To help you confidently manage your payroll, in Sage Payroll, we\u2019ve introduced a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sage.com\/en-gb\/sage-business-cloud\/payroll\/product-updates\/\">new reporting area<\/a>, making it easier than ever to check and reconcile your pay.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>One piece of feedback we heard from a lot of our customers was: \u201cIt would be really valuable to be able to export the report data for further analysis specific to our needs.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In response to this, you can now easily export the reporting data for further analysis and sharing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"partnerships-anchor-link\">New Accounting partnerships to make
