Contractors must register and are required to deduct money from subcontractors\u2019 payments, which counts towards their tax and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sage.com\/en-gb\/blog\/glossary\/what-is-national-insurance\/\">National Insurance<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Sub-contractors don\u2019t have to register but they are entitled to a
