Search and apply for a graduate role you'll love on our careers website. Recruiting usually starts between March to August, with graduates joining us in October, though it varies country to country.
After you apply, you'll be invited to complete screening questions and a video interview. If our Early Careers team believes you might be a match, you’ll join a shortlist of candidates for the assessment centre. The assessment centre is a full-day virtual event – it’s a great opportunity for you to let your talents shine and showcase your skills! It’s a mixture of team and individual activities, so you can show us what you’re made of. From there, we will consider you for a position. Good luck!
Once your start, you'll be paired with a buddy. They will help you navigate your next adventure and support you with your new role and exciting responsibilities!
Before my current role at Sage I did not have any experience in software. I studied maths at university and then I went straight into an actuarial career. I decided to make the switch to software development as I love the challenge it provides and after some self-learning I realised it was a something I really enjoyed doing.
I am a graduate software developer based in Manchester, UK. I work on the Online Compliance applications in a team with 6 other developers and 3 testers however we work closely with teams across the world.
I am able to take responsibility for tickets and see them through to completion. I have a very supportive team and I am given the time to be able to figure things out by myself whilst also being offered help when needed.
If you are applying for a developer role and you don't have much experience, I would recommend completing online courses and to get stuck in by making a simple app to showcase what you have learned.
