Sage, market leader for integrated accounting, payroll and payment systems, will host one of Europe’s biggest business conventions when it opens its doors to more than 5,000 of the UK’s small, medium and enterprise businesses at Sage Summit at the ExCel centre in London on April 5-6th.
London, 06 March 2017 - Following the success of Chicago’s 2016 event, Sage Summit is coming to London for the first time. It is one of Europe’s biggest business events, bringing together businesses, accountants and partners with industry experts, Sage product gurus and inspirational keynote speakers.
The event will cater for businesses at every stage of their journey – whether this is from budding start-ups to multinational enterprises. It will showcase customers, technology and opportunities for businesses that have been around for 20 years or 20 minutes.

Deborah Meaden - UK entrepreneur and Dragons' Den investor, deborahmeaden.com.
With several successful businesses in the leisure and retail sector under her belt, Deborah decided to take up a position in the family amusement arcade business. Starting on the shop floor she worked her way up to Operations Director before moving across into the holiday park side of the business, Weststar Holidays. Within two years she had been promoted to Managing Director and grew the company to provide high-quality UK family holidays for over 150,000 people per year.
She sold the company to Phoenix Equity Partners in 2005 in a deal worth £33 million, whilst retaining a 23% stake. She sold this when Weststar was sold to Parkdean Holidays for £83 million.
Deborah joined the panel of investors for series three of the BBC2 programme 'Dragons' Den' and has since invested in a number of businesses.
Martha Lane Fox, CBE - British businesswoman, philanthropist, and public servant, marthalanefoxblog.com.
An inspirational dot.com driving force and entrepreneur, Martha Lane Fox CBE is passionate about promoting the need for skills and understanding of the digital world in all parts of the UK economy.
Martha co-founded lastminute.com in the dotcom boom, and later Lucky Voice, revolutionising the karaoke industry. In 2016 Martha became a board member of Twitter.
As founder and executive chair of Doteveryone.org.uk – an organisation helping to rebuild Britain for the networked age – she is currently fighting for a fairer internet for all.
Martha joined the UK House of Lords as a crossbencher in 2013, becoming its youngest female member. She was also appointed as Chancellor of the Open University in 2014.
Sahar Hashemi, OBE – UK entrepreneur and Founder of Coffee Republic, saharhashemi.com.
Sahar Hashemi founded Coffee Republic, the UK’s first US style coffee bar chain with her brother and built it into one of the UK’s most recognised high street brands with 110 bars and a turnover of £30 million. Giving up professional careers (she was a lawyer in London) they staked everything on a dream and made Coffee Republic one of the main players in the coffee revolution that transformed the UK high street.
She published a bestselling book Anyone Can Do It – Building Coffee Republic from Our Kitchen Table which is the second highest selling book on entrepreneurship after Richard Branson. Her most recent book, Switched On, focuses on eight habits that foster a more entrepreneurial mindset for employees.
In June 2012 Sahar was awarded an OBE for services to the UK economy and to charity and was listed in the Maserati 100, definitive list of 100 of Britain’s most successful philanthropists, investors, mentors and advisors, who are supporting the next generation of up and coming business talent.
Jamal Edwards, MBE – 26-year old rapper turned multi-millionaire video entrepreneur and SBTV founder
Jamal established the online music platform SBTV when he was 15 years old by filming and uploading videos to YouTube of his friends rapping. Since then he’s grown SBTV into a renowned brand with global reach. Number 2 on The Guardian’s 2014 list of top young people in digital media, Jamal was awarded an MBE for services to music in 2015. He’s also a best-selling author.
