The Malaysian government is actively encouraging Small Medium Enterprises (SMEs) in Malaysia to digitise their business operations. 

In order to promote the adoption of digital technology, the government is offering multiple grants through different government agencies to help SMEs digitise their businesses in weathering the Covid-19 storm.

The eligible SMEs will receive a 50% matching grant of up to RM 5,000. The best part, UBS is pre-approved for this grant!

Eligibility Criteria
 
  • The SME/Coop must be at least 60% owned by Malaysians.
  • The SME/Coop registered under the relevant laws of Malaysia.
  • The SME/Cooperative must have been in business operation for at least least 6 months.
  • The SME/Coop has a minimum average annual sales turnover of RM50,000
  • The SME must be a registered company under the Companies Act 1965 or Companies Act 2016 or other relevant laws in Malaysia.
  • The SME must be at least 51% owned by Malaysians.
  • The SME must have a registered address or business address in the state of Selangor Darul Ehsan.
  • The SME must have been in business operation for at least one (1) year.
  • Based on the SMEs latest financial year report, SMEs are required to have minimum annual sales turnover of RM300,000.00 and not exceeding RM3 million.
