More than 1,000 institutions in 45 countries have used over 4 million digitized tissue slides for cancer pathology via the Paige.ai platform.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In 2021, Paige.ai became the first and only company to receive FDA marketing authorization for AI in pathology. Just recently, Paige.ai and Microsoft <a href=\"https:\/\/www.businesswire.com\/news\/home\/20230907172627\/en\/Paige-Announces-Collaboration-with-Microsoft-to-Build-the-World%E2%80%99s-Largest-Image-Based-AI-Model-to-Fight-Cancer\">announced a groundbreaking partnership<\/a> to build the world\u2019s largest image-based AI models &#8220;that will enable unprecedented insights into the pathology of cancer,\u201d as a Microsoft official put it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-a-financial-management-strategy-for-long-term-success\"><strong>A Financial Management Strategy for Long-Term Success<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Everyone wants Paige.ai and other healthcare innovators to succeed. While its core focus is science, Paige.ai also needs a scalable financial management platform that can deliver efficiency, insights, and controls.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Those are foundational elements needed to attract additional investors, execute a potential IPO, and support sustainable growth and long-term success that changes lives through better diagnostics and treatment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>At Sage Intacct, we\u2019re delighted to be chosen as Paige.ai\u2019s solution of choice once the company determined it needed to upgrade from QuickBooks.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>QuickBooks was suitable in the company\u2019s startup phase, but VP of Finance David Andreasson knew an upgrade was needed as Paige.ai engaged with sizable customers and gained commercial traction.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cThe system we were on previously was fine early on, but as we ramped up I felt it was important to get good infrastructure in place before we had problems we\u2019d need to fix,\u201d as Andreasson <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=90bWU3nkNHs\">tells me in a video interview<\/a>. &#8220;It became time to implement a more robust system that would be able to deliver better quality information to help arm our decision makers with financial information.&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-why-sage-intacct\"><strong>Why Sage Intacct?<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Paige.ai selected Sage Intacct after in-depth evaluations and bakeoffs among leading financial management platforms, including Oracle NetSuite. An intuitive user interface and swift implementation time were key considerations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cI felt that Sage Intacct\u2019s UI was the most intuitive and easy to navigate straight off the bat,\u201d Andreasson says. &#8220;The second aspect was the time to implement and to really see the ROI from a new system.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Andreasson was acutely aware of \u201cwar stories\u201d on implementations that turned into months-long ordeals.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cI had no appetite for going through a protracted eight, nine, or 12-month process,\u201d he says. &#8220;I felt that the Sage Intacct team and the partners they used were really going to wrap their arms around the implementation and make sure that it was as seamless as possible.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Those expectations are being met as Paige.ai approaches its go-live date.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cWe&#8217;re halfway through our projected timeline, and we\u2019re right on time if not ahead of it,\u201d Andreasson says. &#8220;I\u2019m delighted to confirm that all of the promises made in the sales process have been met so far.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Going forward, Paige.ai will be able to take advantage of Sage Intacct\u2019s open and straightforward API to integrate with best-of-breed applications such as Salesforce, Bill.com, and Expensify.
