With line-by-line details, exportable data, and a handy <em>Refresh All Data<\/em> button, you can instantly reconcile changes or review prior activity without the spreadsheet shuffle.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Bonus: It works retroactively\u2014just hit <em>Refresh All Data <\/em>on older documents to populate the data.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Heads-up: These new fields won\u2019t appear in reports or printed templates until R3. But when they do, expect even more power at your fingertips.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-lien-waivers-leveled-up-automate-for-secondary-vendors\"><strong>Lien Waivers, Leveled Up: Automate for Secondary Vendors<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Lien waivers can be a compliance minefield. The R2 release offers a lifeline with automated lien waiver generation for secondary vendors\u2014so your back office doesn\u2019t get bogged down in manual processes.<strong><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>You decide the rules: generate on invoices, on joint checks, on all payments, or a mix. It\u2019s all configurable and controllable. Just be mindful of overlapping compliance definitions to avoid a flood of waivers you didn\u2019t plan on.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-speed-accuracy-smarter-time-amp-materials-billing\"><strong>Speed + Accuracy: Smarter Time &amp; Materials Billing<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Tired of the sluggish invoice generation for large T&amp;M projects? You\u2019re not alone. This release addresses performance head-on, allowing up to 4,000 expenses per transaction without grinding your system to a halt.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Even better, a new <em>Update Totals <\/em>workflow ensures your invoices reflect real-time data\u2014no more recalculating midstream. You get full control over retainage and billing, with fewer surprises and cleaner execution. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Note, that changes&nbsp;to \u201cretainage percent,\u201d \u201cretainage to hold,\u201d \u201cretainage to bill,\u201d and \u201ctotal to bill this period\u201d need to be added after the <em>Update Totals<\/em> button has been clicked to prevent an override that will reset these fields to the calculated amount.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-duplicate-smarter-task-mapping-that-sticks\"><strong>Duplicate Smarter: Task Mapping That Sticks<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Setting up T&amp;M contracts just got a whole lot faster. When duplicating a project contract, you can now retain task mapping\u2014no need to re-link hundreds of tasks by hand. If your new project has the same structure as your template, it\u2019s a plug-and-play experience.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This is a major time-saver, especially for teams working with standardized project templates. And for those automating at scale, a new REST API lets you programmatically map tasks without ever touching the UI.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-introducing-wip-history-trends-transparency-and-better-exports\"><strong>Introducing WIP History: Trends, Transparency, and Better Exports<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>WIP management just got a facelift. The new <em>WIP History<\/em> view gives you a filterable, exportable, read-only snapshot of your WIP schedules\u2014perfect for seeing trends over time, analyzing profit fade, or filtering by project manager. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Now, you can find the export option on the <em>WIP History <\/em>page instead of the WIP schedule where it was previously located.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This view complements the existing WIP schedule editor, and its export has officially replaced the old one\u2014because frankly, it\u2019s just better.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>You can now:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Track changes in profit margins across months<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Filter by any field (including PM!)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Export clean, math-friendly data that\u2019s ready for reporting or analysis<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Use a built-in view in <em>WIP History<\/em> that can be used to export a WIP schedule in the required WIP import format (this makes imports easier!)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-a-new-map-reorganized-menus-for-projects-and-time\"><strong>A New Map: Reorganized Menus for Projects and Time<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>To pave the way for time tracking enhancements in future releases, the <em>Time<\/em> and <em>Projects <\/em>menus have been reorganized. <em>Time<\/em> now lives in its own application, while project-related configuration has been streamlined for easier navigation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>You&#8217;ll find tools like <em>Change Management<\/em> and <em>Project Contracts<\/em> right up top where they belong\u2014no more scrolling to find what you need.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-little-tweaks-big-impact-usability-improvements-our-customers-asked-for\"><strong>Little Tweaks, Big Impact: Usability Improvements Our Customers Asked For<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Sometimes, it\u2019s the small things that pack the biggest punch.
