“It’s nothing personal. It’s just business,” goes the old turn of phrase. We believe nothing could be further from the truth. We have always prioritized personal relationships. After all, a strong business is built on rapport; be it internally with colleagues or with clients and partners. One area where we feel this is particularly important is in the developer community.

 

We see developers as key to our on-going success and are committed to building long-term relationships with them.  Our recently launched Sage Certified Development Professional and Certified Solution programs have been specifically established to help nurture their talent and expertise. The Programs are designed to make it easier for developers to integrate with Sage ERP X3, and accelerate the delivery of their solutions to market.

By putting the individual developer first, rather than the organization, we can expand the number of developers building and maintain customized and integrated Sage solutions. Creating a strong, ongoing and personal relationship means the developer won’t lose the skill set they’ve acquired, allowing them to consistently deliver the best range of integrated products and services to their customers.

The Sage Certified Development Professional Program is designed to enable all types of organizations to certify their individuals on Sage ERP X3 development.  Best practice training and skills assessment gives developers the opportunity to demonstrate their competency in customizing and integrating applications. Certified individuals will be able to retain their certifications and carry them with them throughout their career.

The Sage Certified Solution Program creates a new partnering pathway for developers, by enabling organizations to certify their own solutions against Sage qualification and testing criteria.  Designed to give customers peace of mind when choosing Sage integrated third-party products, the program also helps developers gain powerful marketing leverage against non-certified competitors.  Purchasers and implementers of Sage Certified Solutions can be assured they follow certain minimum standards and have passed tests for installation and functionality.  Sage Certified Solutions will be available for sale through Sage’s Business Partner channel, thereby creating increased awareness, availability and potential incremental revenue opportunities for developers.
