Why we love it: The Merchant is a favorite stopping point for home décor and stationery collectors. The boutique is filled with curated antiques, gifts and stationary. The owners of The Merchant also own several other boutiques around town so make sure to pop into Archer Paper Goods at Ponce City Market and the Read Book Shop in Vinings while you are in town.

Why we love it: Souper Jenny is an Atlanta staple, locals flock to this neighborhood café for their delicious made from scratch soups. The neighborhood soup kitchen has several locations around the Atlanta area. The menu changes daily but always features an array of vegetarian and gluten-free options.

Why we love it: Hampton + Hudson is a local community gastropub located in Inman Park right on Atlanta’s Beltline trail. Locals love to flock to this bar by bike or on foot for Tuesday night trivia! Hampton + Hudson’s menu has an extensive list of food, beer and wine pairings. For dessert order the fruit cobbler. It’s made with a cornbread crust.

Why we love it: A visit to Atlanta isn’t complete without a visit to Fox Bros. BBQ. This barbeque joint is an Atlanta institution known for its amazing slow cooked ribs and delicious sides.

Why we love it: In 2016, Bon Appetit magazine named Staplehouse America’s best restaurant. The restaurant serves farm-to-table cuisine and changes its menu regularly. Staplehouse is the first fully run restaurant non-profit. All proceeds made from Staplehouse go to The Giving Kitchen Initiative which provides financial assistance to those in the restaurant industry who are affected by unanticipated hardship. Chefs at Staplehouse are cooking because they are passionate about food and helping their colleagues in the industry.

Why we love it: If you are in the mood for a sweet treat, Revolution Doughnuts is an Atlanta favorite. The organic doughnut shop has a cake and yeast style doughnuts. A few of our favorites flavors are the caramel bacon, the salted caramel and the vegan dark chocolate.

Why we love it: You’ll feel like you stepped into a 19-century European tea emporium when visiting Dr. Bombay’s Underwater Tea Party. The café has over 100 teas on the menu and serves high-tea daily. Guests tend to spend hours in the café’s library reading a book from their collection while enjoying freshly baked pastries.

Why we love it: Land of a Thousand Hills is one of the best coffee houses in the Atlanta area. . Our employees love starting their day with one of their hand-crafted lattes. All of the menu items served at the coffee shop are made with sustainable ingredients and are local sourced.
The owners of a Land of a Thousand Hills partner with farmers and community in Rwanda to source their coffee beans. In exchange, they help provide these farmers and community leaders with a living wage and the resources to live a better life.
