Il s\u2019agit d\u2019une d\u00e9pense, souvent imm\u00e9diate, dont l\u2019objectif \u00e0 long terme est d\u2019augmenter la richesse de la personne ou de la soci\u00e9t\u00e9 qui l\u2019engage. Au sein d\u2019une entreprise, un investissement a pour fonction d\u2019augmenter la productivit\u00e9 ou encore de gagner du temps. Avant d\u2019op\u00e9rer un investissement, les entreprises anticipent le retour sur investissement \u00e0 l\u2019aide du ratio <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sage.com\/fr-fr\/guides-pratiques\/roi-improvement-formulaire\/\">ROI (Return On Investment<\/a>).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">En comptabilit\u00e9, l\u2019investissement se caract\u00e9rise par une d\u00e9pense amortissable qui augmente le patrimoine de l\u2019entreprise. Il existe trois types d\u2019investissement selon le plan comptable g\u00e9n\u00e9ral : l\u2019investissement corporel, l\u2019investissement incorporel et l\u2019investissement financier.<\/p>\n\n\n<?xml encoding=\"utf-8\" ?><div class=\"wp-block-yoast-seo-table-of-contents yoast-table-of-contents\"><ul><li><a href=\"#definition\" data-level=\"2\">L&rsquo;investissement : la d&eacute;finition en &eacute;conomie<\/a><\/li><li><a href=\"#comptable\" data-level=\"2\">L&rsquo;investissement : une notion comptable<\/a><\/li><li><a href=\"#retour\" data-level=\"2\">Le retour sur investissement<\/a><\/li><\/ul><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"definition\">L&rsquo;investissement : la d\u00e9finition en \u00e9conomie<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">L\u2019investissement d\u00e9signe, en \u00e9conomie, une d\u00e9pense destin\u00e9e \u00e0 augmenter la richesse de la personne qui l\u2019engage. Il s\u2019agit d\u2019une d\u00e9pense imm\u00e9diate ayant pour but d\u2019obtenir un effet positif quantifiable \u00e0 long terme. Une entreprise peut ainsi investir pour :<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Augmenter sa productivit\u00e9 via l\u2019investissement dans de nouvelles machines-outils<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Gagner de nouveaux clients ou travailler son image de marque en investissant dans une campagne de publicit\u00e9<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Gagner du temps<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Baisser \u00e0 terme les co\u00fbts et augmenter son b\u00e9n\u00e9fice<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Op\u00e9rer un investissement peut aussi s\u2019av\u00e9rer utile pour maintenir un chiffre d\u2019affaires ou pour moderniser ses \u00e9quipements.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"comptable\">L\u2019investissement : une notion comptable<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">En <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sage.com\/fr-fr\/guides-pratiques\/roi-improvement-formulaire\/\">comptabilit\u00e9<\/a>, l\u2019investissement correspond \u00e0 l\u2019acquisition ou \u00e0 la cr\u00e9ation d\u2019un bien durable destin\u00e9 \u00e0 demeurer au moins un an sous la m\u00eame forme. La valeur de ce bien doit \u00eatre au minimum \u00e9gale \u00e0 500 euros. En comptabilit\u00e9, l\u2019investissement est destin\u00e9 \u00e0 augmenter la valeur du patrimoine de l\u2019entreprise (actif du bilan comptable) et \u00e0 faire l\u2019objet d\u2019un amortissement dont le taux et la dur\u00e9e d\u00e9pendent de sa nature. Les trois types d\u2019investissement class\u00e9s par le plan comptable g\u00e9n\u00e9ral sont :<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Les investissements corporels qui d\u00e9signent les achats de biens et immeubles : b\u00e2timents, usines, machines, mat\u00e9riels, terrains\u2026<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Les investissements incorporels qui concernent les achats permettant d\u2019augmenter la valeur du patrimoine de l\u2019entreprise comme les brevets, les licences, les fonds de commerce\u2026<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Les investissements financiers que repr\u00e9sentent les achats d\u2019actions ou d\u2019obligations et qui augmentent le patrimoine financier de l\u2019entreprise.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Il est \u00e0 pr\u00e9ciser que le <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sage.com\/fr-fr\/produits\/sage-100\/etats-comptables-et-fiscaux\/\">bilan comptable<\/a> fait appara\u00eetre les investissements effectu\u00e9s pour leurs montants d\u00e9pr\u00e9ci\u00e9s \u00e0 la date de r\u00e9alisation du bilan, nomm\u00e9 \u00ab\u2009valeur actuelle nette\u2009\u00bb. La valeur actuelle nette d\u2019un investissement correspond ainsi \u00e0 sa valeur d\u2019acquisition minor\u00e9e de l\u2019amortissement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"retour\">Le retour sur investissement<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Afin de mesurer le gain obtenu sur un investissement, il existe un ratio financier : le Retour sur Investissement ou ROI. Cet indicateur financier permet de calculer la <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sage.com\/fr-fr\/guides-pratiques\/productivite-rentabilite-formulaire\/\">rentabilit\u00e9<\/a> des capitaux investis. Pour calculer le retour sur investissement, on utilise la formule suivante : ROI = [(gain de l\u2019investissement \u2013 co\u00fbt de l\u2019investissement)\/co\u00fbt de l\u2019investissement].<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Le retour sur investissement est une donn\u00e9e essentielle pour choisir entre diff\u00e9rents projets et ainsi d\u00e9terminer lequel rapportera le plus d\u2019argent par rapport aux montants initiaux investis.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">L\u2019investissement est donc une d\u00e9pense qui a pour objectif de modifier le cycle d\u2019exploitation d\u2019une entreprise. Il s\u2019agit de d\u00e9penser de l\u2019argent pour en gagner davantage. Au contraire d\u2019une charge, l\u2019investissement est un engagement de l\u2019entreprise. Il peut, par exemple, consister en l\u2019achat de machines plus performantes ou en l\u2019acquisition de nouveaux locaux. L\u2019investissement est un processus fondamental dans la vie d\u2019une soci\u00e9t\u00e9, car il permet d\u2019assurer sa croissance sur du long terme. De plus, une entreprise peut tout \u00e0 fait effectuer plusieurs investissements dans le m\u00eame temps.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Ces
