   Visual Process Flow - Order Entry

   New Sage Visual Process Flows provide a graphical interface that show you the steps you need to take to complete your business processes. Visual Process Flows are particularly helpful for new employees, as well as to guide you through tasks you rarely perform, such as year-end.

   Gain quick access and begin entering a new order from the Order Entry Transactions screen by choosing Orders/Sales Orders.

   Payment Processing Enhancements

   Streamline your payment processing using the new Sage 300 ERP 2012 Capture Payments with Invoices features. After your warehouse personnel create the shipments for your sales orders, your accounting staff can access the new task to efficiently capture all credit card pre-authorizations, create invoices for the batch and receipts for the associated accounts receivable transactions. Go green and choose to create, but not print invoices or receipts. You choose what's most efficient for your business workflow, on your schedule, either daily or several times throughout the day.

   Click on Capture and Invoice to start the process you've selected. Once it's complete, an informative message box will confirm the orders that were captured and the invoices and receipts created. It will also show any exceptions that may require special handling, or errors that occurred.

   

   Once you enable the Print Invoices After Capture option, you'll be able to easily print invoices you created.

   

   Use the Print Receipts After Capture option to conveniently print your receipt confirmations.

Control how your accounts rollup with maximum flexibility, and establish reporting groups and reporting trees to view your organization in many different ways.

   'Grouping from' and 'Grouping into' Fields allow you to source the 'Available Categories' field list from different fields within your report.
