How to Migrate

Step 1: Do reconcile

Pick a day for your move that’s the start of a new accounting period. For example, the start of a new month or quarter. If you do reconcile your bank accounts with Sage 50, print your Account Reconciliation Summary with Outstanding Transaction Detail report – you will need this for your first reconciliation in Sage Accounting.

Step 2: Export your data

When you’re ready, download, install and run the migration tool to create a Sage Accounting account. Export your company data, then upload it into Sage Accounting. Don’t worry, we’ll guide you every step of the way.

Step 3: Move & Validate your data

Make sure your data matches in your Post Migration Report, and you’re good to go!
