For business owners who want a full view of their cashflow, want to automate data processes, and want reporting and dashboard views – Accounting Standard provides a more complete feature set.

Choose Sage 50 Pro if you are a single user needing foundational accounting, invoicing, and expense tracking. Upgrade to Premium if you need to collaborate with 2 to 4 users, manage multiple companies or currencies, and track multi-location inventory. For larger teams, Quantum supports 5 or more users and delivers specialized serialized inventory alongside advanced project budgeting up to 5 years. Essentially, Pro covers the basics, Premium adds multi-user and multi-company depth, and Quantum unlocks the highest scale and tracking for complex operations.

Sage Accounting is cloud-based, which means it's accessible from anywhere and your data is hosted on servers and protected by Canadian privacy standards. You do not need to download anything to access the product, you can login via the Sage site and you never have to worry about losing your data, backing up your data, or being unable to access your books.

Sage 50 is a Desktop based product that needs to be downloaded. The benefit is that the product and data lives on your computer, but you cannot access the product from anywhere and are responsible for backing up your data at home.

Yes. Your data is hosted in Canadian data centres and protected by Canadian privacy standards. At Sage, security and compliance are built-in, so you can trust your information is safe. 

We will keep your information secure by taking appropriate technical and organizational measures against its unauthorized or unlawful processing and against its accidental loss, destruction or damage.
