When it comes to sustainability, we believe it is our responsibility to make a real difference and to act as a role model for our industry and for those in our network.
Our sustainability journey has informed how we show up for SMBs, from helping them get started with carbon accounting, to making their voices heard by policymakers and regulators. We know that taking action starts with us, but the impact we create spreads beyond us. We call this the The Multiplier Effect.
Our evolved Sustainability and Society strategy reflects on the outcomes of our recent materiality assessment, and our transition from commitment to action. Our updated strategy has three key pillars—Protect the Planet, Tech for Good, and Human by Design—all underpinned by Sustainability by Design, which is about integrating sustainability deep into our business and operations. Each of the pillars is supported by clear priorities and a robust action plan. This evolved approach drives further accountability across the business and reflects a closer alignment with our strategic business priorities.
Our FY23 Sustainability and Society report provides our stakeholders with a transparent account of how we approach the most material sustainability issues faced by Sage. The report has been prepared in accordance with the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) 2021 Standards, as well as the Sustainability Accounting Standards Board (SASB) Sustainability Accounting Standard for the Software and IT Services Industry.
Our FY23 Climate Report has been prepared in alignment with the Transition Plan Taskforce (TPT) Disclosure Framework and there are full disclosures in alignment with the Task Force on Climate-related Financial Disclosures (TCFD) at the back of the report.
