How a purpose-driven bank thrives with Sage Intacct

Kingdom Bank Ltd  -  United Kingdom

Kingdom Bank, originally a church-run service is now a fully formed bank, regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority. It needed a system to match its new remit.

Outgrowing siloed systems

Kingdom Bank was using Sage 50 but felt that it needed a software upgrade.

“Kingdom Bank wasn’t a typical retail bank, it was managed by churches” explains the Bank’s Chief Market Officer, Pod Bhogal, on why it chose to upgrade to Sage Intacct. The new software would let it make deeper, smarter efficiencies to match its growth phase.

Now that we are growing, it makes more sense to use bigger software in the cloud, so that we can manage much greater volumes of data.

Keeping finances in the cloud

Upgrade complete, the Bank could turn to improving efficiency. “Implementation went very smoothly, and the Sage team was very helpful.” Says Juliette Nwodi, the FC of Kingdom Bank.

Kingdom Bank uses Sage Intacct for its day-to-day accounting: “We use the prepayment, cash management, and accounts payable functionality… and we have the direct bank feeds set up,” Juliette says.

We have seen clear efficiency gains, for example we can put more of our invoices directly into Sage Intacct, which has sped up our invoicing and payments.
