Rick Mercer

Comic and TV Star

Known as “Canada’s Unofficial Opposition,” Rick Mercer hosts CBC’s “The Rick Mercer Report”—now in its 13th season. This award-winning show chronicles, satirizes, and ultimately celebrates all that is great and irreverent about his home country.

Born in St. John’s, Newfoundland, Mercer has won more than 25 Gemini Awards for “The Rick Mercer Report,” “Made in Canada,” and “This Hour has 22 Minutes.” He is the author of three national bestsellers: “Streeters,” “The Rick Mercer Report: The Book,” and 2012’s “A Nation Worth Ranting About.” In 2014, he was made an Officer of the Order of Canada.

Michael Hyatt

Investor, Business Expert and CBC Dragon on “Next Gen Den”

Michael Hyatt is a serial entrepreneur and technology visionary who built two highly successful software companies, which he sold for $500 million dollars. Today, Michael ranks as one of Canada’s top entrepreneurs, is a weekly business commentator on the CBC and was a celebrated “Dragon” on CBC’s online Dragons’ Den. Michael was a finalist for Ernst & Young’s Entrepreneur of the Year Award; and was a recipient of the Top 40 Under 40 Award. He is also an active investor and philanthropist and chairs the Hyatt Family Foundation.

Stephen Kelly

CEO, Sage

With more than 30 years of leadership experience in international businesses and government operations, Stephen was appointed as Sage’s CEO in November, 2014.

Before arriving at Sage, he served as the UK government’s Chief Operating Officer, leading its Efficiency and Reform agenda. In 2015, to help increase support for the country’s small and medium businesses, he was appointed as a Business Ambassador to the British Prime Minister.

Stephen has also been CEO at Chordiant Software and Micro Focus International. He spent the first part of his career at Oracle.

Passionate about supporting entrepreneurs, Stephen has been an angel investor in several high-growth startups.

Scott Ehmen

VP, Partner Strategy and Sales, Sage

Scott Ehmen is responsible for partner strategy, programs, enablement, management, and channels sales for Sage in North America.

He is an accomplished channel, alliances, and strategic partnerships professional with extensive expertise establishing profitable relationships between partners and sales teams. His experience creating partnering strategies and programs that deliver leveraged sales growth, profitability, and customer satisfaction is what brought him to Sage.

Scott most recently was Senior Vice President Global Partner Ecosystems & Channels for Informatica. Previously, he was at SAP where he was Global Vice President, Strategic Business Development (2014-2016). Before that he held three other executive level positions as SAP and spent four years at Salesforce as Global Director-Partner Programs & Enablement.

Nick Goode

EVP, Product Management, Sage

Nick leads product management for Sage. He's been in the software industry for over 20 years working globally on bots, cloud, mobile and enterprise B2B products. He's passionate about leadership, digital engagement, innovation and customer success. Outside work, Nick is crazy about sports and well-being; he lives on a farm in Cheshire with his wife, children and horses.

Paul Struthers

EVP, Managing Director of Sage Canada

Paul Struthers is executive vice president and managing director of Sage Canada. Mr. Struthers is responsible for Sage’s overall business in Canada, working alongside Sage’s cherished network of customers, partners, and accountants. Prior to joining Sage in August 2016, Struthers spent 15 years with Amdocs, a global software solutions company servicing the world’s largest communications, entertainment and media service providers.

Previously, Struthers managed the Enterprise Resource Planning consulting practice at RSA companies, where he also led and supported over 20 projects for small and mid-sized businesses in the U.S. and Canada. Prior to RSA, Paul oversaw business transformation initiatives for small and mid-sized business customers at Bell Canada.

Jennifer Warawa

EVP, Product Marketing, Sage

Jennifer Warawa has been with Sage for over nine years and leads product marketing, based in Sage’s Atlanta, USA office. Prior to working with Sage, Jennifer owned an accounting and consulting firm in Kelowna, Canada. Jennifer is passionate about helping others reach their full potential and outside of work, she loves mentoring youth and is an active foster parent.
