Rick Mercer

Comic and TV Star

Known as “Canada’s Unofficial Opposition,” Rick Mercer hosts CBC’s “The Rick Mercer Report”—now in its 13th season. This award-winning show chronicles, satirizes, and ultimately celebrates all that is great and irreverent about his home country.

Born in St. John’s, Newfoundland, Mercer has won more than 25 Gemini Awards for “The Rick Mercer Report,” “Made in Canada,” and “This Hour has 22 Minutes.” He is the author of three national bestsellers: “Streeters,” “The Rick Mercer Report: The Book,” and 2012’s “A Nation Worth Ranting About.” In 2014, he was made an Officer of the Order of Canada.

Michael Hyatt

Investor, Business Expert and CBC Dragon on “Next Gen Den”

Michael Hyatt is a serial entrepreneur and technology visionary who built two highly successful software companies, which he sold for $500 million dollars. Today, Michael ranks as one of Canada’s top entrepreneurs, is a weekly business commentator on the CBC and was a celebrated “Dragon” on CBC’s online Dragons’ Den. Michael was a finalist for Ernst & Young’s Entrepreneur of the Year Award; and was a recipient of the Top 40 Under 40 Award. He is also an active investor and philanthropist and chairs the Hyatt Family Foundation.

Stephen Kelly

CEO, Sage

With more than 30 years of leadership experience in international businesses and government operations, Stephen was appointed as Sage’s CEO in November, 2014.

Before arriving at Sage, he served as the UK government’s Chief Operating Officer, leading its Efficiency and Reform agenda. In 2015, to help increase support for the country’s small and medium businesses, he was appointed as a Business Ambassador to the British Prime Minister.

Stephen has also been CEO at Chordiant Software and Micro Focus International. He spent the first part of his career at Oracle.

Passionate about supporting entrepreneurs, Stephen has been an angel investor in several high-growth startups.

Nick Goode

EVP, Product Management, Sage

Nick leads product management for Sage. He's been in the software industry for over 20 years working globally on bots, cloud, mobile and enterprise B2B products. He's passionate about leadership, digital engagement, innovation and customer success. Outside work, Nick is crazy about sports and well-being; he lives on a farm in Cheshire with his wife, children and horses.

Kriti Sharma

VP of Bots and AI, Sage

Kriti leads mobile product management at Sage, building products that inspire millions of entrepreneurs, including Pegg, the world’s first accounting chatbot. In 2017, Kriti was named to Forbes’ exclusive ’30 Under 30’ list. Prior to Sage, Kriti was the Global Head of Product, Real-time Big Data Analytics at Barclays. She also led Product Management for the award winning Mobile Payments app Barclays Pingit. Kriti is a Fellow of the RSA, Google Grace Hopper Scholar and Govt. of India’s Young Leader in Science.

Paul Struthers

EVP, Managing Director of Sage Canada

Paul Struthers is executive vice president and managing director of Sage Canada. Paul is responsible for Sage’s overall business in Canada, working alongside Sage’s cherished network of customers, partners, and accountants.

Prior to joining Sage in August 2016, Paul spent 15 years with Amdocs, a global software solutions company servicing the world’s largest communications, entertainment and media service providers. Previously, Paul managed the Enterprise Resource Planning consulting practice at RSA companies, where he also led and supported over 20 projects for small and mid-sized businesses in the U.S. and Canada. Prior to RSA, Paul oversaw business transformation initiatives for small and mid-sized business customers at Bell Canada.

Nancy Teixeira

VP of Sales, Scale-up and Enterprise, Sage

Nancy Teixeira is the Vice President of Sales for the Scale-up and Enterprise segments at Sage Canada. Her team works hand in hand with Sage business partners to deliver our portfolio of solutions, including: Sage X3, Sage 300, Sage Live and Sage People to our customers. Prior to taking on this role in January 2017, Nancy spent 2 years focused on the accountant and bookkeeper segment as Director of Sales, North America for the Sage Accountant Solutions group. Before joining Sage, Nancy spent over a decade at Microsoft Canada, holding various leadership positions in the Dynamics group, ranging from sales management to product marketing to channel management. Nancy has been engaged in ERP software for 20 years.

Jennifer Warawa

EVP, Product Marketing, Sage

Jennifer Warawa has been with Sage for over nine years and leads product marketing, based in Sage’s Atlanta, USA office. Prior to working with Sage, Jennifer owned an accounting and consulting firm in Kelowna, Canada. Jennifer is passionate about helping others reach their full potential and outside of work, she loves mentoring youth and is an active foster parent.
