UAB Educational Foundation makes more educated financial decisions with Sage Intacct

The foundation puts its complex reporting on autopilot using Sage software, while gaining an aerial view of the financials

Data entry becomes overwhelming

As the number of funds that the UAB Educational Foundation manages grew, the organization’s small finance team struggled to keep up with the data entry required by its financial system. The foundation recognized the need to streamline and automate its paper-based processes by switching to a modern financial reporting system.

We decided to move to the cloud so we could implement a streamlined electronic process, while avoiding the headaches of traditional software installation.

Streamlined management & approval

UAB Educational Foundation is now using Sage Intacct’s flexible purchasing workflows to efficiently manage complex approval processes across more than 70 employees. The system is also being used to manage 50 individual funds.

With Sage Intacct’s fast, streamlined invoice to payment process, we’ve greatly improved the university’s key vendor relationships.

The biggest benefit of switching to Sage Intacct has been the UAB Educational Foundation’s improved reporting capabilities. The organization’s financial statements are now up-to-date all the time, giving the team visibility into current transactions and balances across multiple entities - ensuring accuracy, compliance, and accountability.
