Sage appoints Cath Keers as Chief Marketing Officer

Sage today announced the appointment of Cath Keers as Chief Marketing Officer (CMO).

London – 30 June 2020: Sage, a market leader in cloud business management solutions, today announced the appointment of Cath Keers as Chief Marketing Officer (CMO). Cath will report to CEO Steve Hare as part of his Executive Committee, overseeing all marketing disciplines to drive customer success and business growth.

Cath brings significant experience as a global marketing leader and a deep understanding of technology subscription businesses and customer centricity, having previously held several senior executive roles at BT Group, O2, and as Chairman of Tesco Mobile.  

Cath’s non-executive experience includes advisory roles at TalkTalk, Bupa, Funding Circle Holdings plc and smaller companies including Ustwo and Trusted House Sitters, furthering her in-depth experience of the small business market.

She has also served as a non-executive director on the Sage Board since 2017. She will commence her role on the 8th September, but will step down from the Board with immediate effect.   

As CMO, Cath will be responsible for the global strategy and governance across all of Sage’s marketing, including brand, communications, events, digital channels, and marketing operations. She will drive consistency, alignment and develop marketing talent across all of Sage’s markets to further improve our customer experience.
