Like many of the businesses we serve, Sage began as a small business and has grown beyond what seemed imaginable. Today over 11,000 colleagues now support millions of entrepreneurs across more than 20 countries as they power the global economy.

We help drive today’s business builders with a new generation of solutions to manage everything from money to people.

Our social and mobile technology provides live information so you can make fast, informed decisions anytime, anywhere in the world. We support our business builders for life by offering choice, support, expertise, and innovation. We champion your causes and provide world-leading advice and support when you need it most.

Sage began as a modest British start-up.

In 1981, our founder David Goldman wanted to create quotes quickly for his print business and keep track of his accounts. David worked with a team from Newcastle University, including Dr. Paul Muller, a computer expert who worked with NASA, and student Graham Wylie. Our founders realised other businesses could benefit from this too. Some eight years later, Sage was listed on the London Stock Exchange with a £20m valuation.

Today we work with millions of businesses in all types of industries around the world. Over 11,000 employees serve our customers in more than 20 countries.

Our solutions manage accounting, HR, payroll, payments, assets, construction, real estate, and enterprise systems.

They travel with business builders wherever they’re needed – in the cloud, on-premise, or both – offering the freedom to work with mobility. Our solutions fit the needs of startup, scale-up, and enterprise companies – whether that means staying on top of their finances, empowering their people, or unleashing their power to grow.

What is ISO9001 :2015 ?

ISO 9001 is the internationally recognised standard for quality management of businesses, and it is used by more than 1 million organisations worldwide. This standard provides a framework for quality that covers the processes that create and control the products and services an organisation supplies.

ISO9001 :2015 helps us manage our business processes efficiently and demonstrates our commitment to quality and continual improvement. Sage has made a commitment to providing quality products and services to our customers ; remaining ISO 9001 registered is a big part of our commitment.

To ensure we remain at this standard we have set out a Quality Management System (QMS) to ensure that : We consistently provide products and services to meet our customers' expectations and, where applicable, statutory or legal requirements. We continually improve, through the use of our QMS and our quality policy, and enhance customers' experience when dealing with us or our products and services.

If you have any questions about Quality Management or our ISO registration, email us at [email protected].

Let's build a better future

We envision a world where all people and communities thrive because they are living with economic stability and social equality. If our local communities thrive, so do we.

Causes we care about

This year, Sage and its employees have supported a number of non-profit organisations, from in-kind donations to fundraising through the Sage $1 million challenge.

Helping communities across the UK

Sage employees are given five paid days per year to help a charity. That's about 120,000 hours to make British communities a better place to live.

Looking after customers

Sage has emergency procedures to help customers when they need it most; we get businesses up and running again as quickly as possible.

Transforming non-profit organisations

We’re committed to ensuring as many eligible non-profit organisations benefit from Sage Business Cloud donations as possible, so they can take action – whatever tomorrow brings.
