Sage commits to the next generation of accountancy by fuelling new ACCA practices with bespoke package of expert advice and technology

  • Sage pledges £2.9m to help more practices launch post-pandemic and reduce start-up cashflow worries.
  • Sage, in partnership with ACCA, will provide essential guidance to accountants and their clients to help them manage their cashflow, plan for recovery and succeed.

ACCA (the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants) and Sage, the market leader in cloud business management solutions, have teamed up to launch a package of advice and technology to help more accountancy practices launch in the UK than ever before.

According to the ACCA, there has been a dramatic increase in those looking to set up in practice, with 886 new practising certificates issued so far in 2020, a significant rise from 2019. Sage recognises that every small business needs expert support and guidance, more than ever before, and accountants are key to providing this.

The package of free support aims to reduce those initial overheads that are faced by practices when starting up through free access to software for the first six months from launch. In addition to this, Sage will also provide access to world-class advice to help practices help their clients every step of the way understand the latest legislation, remain compliant, stay informed, get paid fast while having full visibility of their cash flow.
