Sage acquires Moovin’Cloud’s cloud migration and hosting platform to accelerate cloud adoption in France

Building on an established partnership to support Sage customers and partners across France.
Puteaux, 5 October 2026. Sage, a leader in accounting, financial, HR and payroll technology for small and medium-sized businesses, today announces the acquisition of Moovin’Cloud (MIC), a France-based cloud hosting and migration platform.

MIC has developed a proprietary orchestration platform that automates the migration and hosting of Sage products on Microsoft Azure, including Sage 100, Sage 50, Batigest and Génération Expert. The platform can deploy cloud-hosted environments for customers’ on Sage software in as little as 30 minutes, significantly accelerating their transition to the cloud. Since partnering with Sage, MIC has supported the migration of over 5,600 customer environments, helping customers modernise their operations while maintaining continuity and reliability.

MIC has been a trusted Sage partner since 2022 and has experienced strong growth as demand for cloud solutions has increased. This acquisition deepens an already successful relationship and brings a proven, operationally scaled migration and hosting capability into Sage. It strengthens Sage's ability to help customers move to the cloud faster, more seamlessly and at scale, while accelerating the delivery of its cloud strategy in France. The transaction excludes MIC's Cloud Engineering consulting business, which serves enterprise customers.

“This acquisition is another step in Sage's commitment to help businesses adapt and grow in a rapidly changing environment,” said Arnaud Petit, Managing Director, Southern Europe, Sage. “Moovin’Cloud brings a proven capability that removes complexity from cloud migration, allowing customers and partners to focus less on infrastructure and more on innovation, productivity and business growth. As businesses prepare for the next wave of AI-powered services, simplifying access to the cloud has never been more important”

“From the start, our ambition was simple: remove the complexity that prevents businesses from making the move to the cloud,” said Vincent Martin, Co-founder, Moovin’Cloud. “Over the past four years, we have worked alongside Sage and its partners to turn that ambition into a proven platform used by thousands of customers. Joining Sage is the natural next step. It gives us the scale to accelerate what we have built and help even more businesses modernise and embrace change with confidence.”

Notes to editors

Businesses in France using supported Sage products can move their existing software into a cloud-hosted environment through Moovin’Cloud (MIC)’s automated migration and hosting platform. This provides a route to cloud hosting while retaining the Sage product they already use.

MIC’s platform supports the migration and hosting of Sage 100, Sage 50, Batigest and Génération Expert on Microsoft Azure.

MIC’s proprietary orchestration platform automates the deployment and hosting of supported Sage products on Microsoft Azure. This reduces the manual infrastructure work involved and provides customers and partners with a simpler and more predictable migration process.

The platform currently supports approximately 5,600 customer environments in France.

There will be no change in existing customers’ services, they will continue to receive support and customer service as they always have. All existing Sage customers already supported by MIC’s platform will continue to have access as in they had previously. Existing customers should continue using their current services and contacts unless Sage communicates otherwise.

The acquisition will enable further investment in MIC’s platform and closer integration with Sage products, giving partners a more scalable way to support customers moving to cloud-hosted environments.

For now, existing day-to-day arrangements are expected to continue while the business is integrated.

The current focus is supporting Sage customers and partners in France. Sage will assess opportunities to apply the capability more widely as the platform is integrated and developed. While there are no additional markets to announce at this time, we are focused on supporting customers and partners in the cloud across our global markets.

No, Sage is acquiring MIC’s cloud migration and hosting business in France. MIC’s separate Cloud Engineering consulting business, which provides consulting services to enterprise customers, is not included in the transaction and will continue to operate independently.
