Sage launches certification programs

Sage launches certification programs to boost revenue opportunities and solution delivery for Sage ERP X3 developers (Sage UKI)

Sage has today announced the European launch of its new Certified Development Professional and Certified Solution programs for Sage ERP X3.  Designed to help developers generate additional revenue opportunities, accelerate solution delivery and provide an enhanced experience for Sage customers, both programs were unveiled to the North American marketplace in October, and today marks their launch in the UK, France, Spain and Portugal, with Germany to follow in the summer.

The Sage Certified Development Professional Program is designed to enable all types of organisations to certify individuals on Sage ERP X3 development.  Best practice training and skills assessment gives developers the opportunity to demonstrate their competency in customising and integrating applications, and also provides a path for software vendors to certify their own solutions which extend the functionality of Sage ERP X3. 

The Sage Certified Solution Program creates a new partnering pathway for developers, by enabling them to certify their own solutions against Sage qualification and testing criteria.  Designed to give customers peace of mind when choosing Sage integrated third-party products, it also helps developers gain powerful marketing leverage against non-certified competitors.  Purchasers and implementers of Sage Certified Solutions can be assured they follow certain minimum standards and have passed tests for installation and functionality.  Sage Certified Solutions will be available for sale through Sage’s Business Partner channel, thereby creating increased awareness, availability and potential incremental revenue opportunities for developers.
