LONDON, UK, 19 October, 2021 – Sage, the market leader in cloud business management solutions, today announced it joins nearly 200 forward-thinking companies as the newest member of the World Business Council for Sustainable Development (WBCSD).
As part of this membership, Sage will work hand-in-hand with other purpose-led CEOs, contributing to key projects across climate, social inequality, reporting and the future of work.
Steve Hare, Sage’s Chief Executive Officer, joins WBCSD as a Council Member. He will provide leadership and collaborate with other leaders on WBCSD’s work programme to help sustainable businesses be more successful. In addition, Steve takes up the role of a Commissioner for the Business Commission to Tackle Inequality (BCTI) to mobilise the business community at large and drive tangible progress in support of prosperity for all.
