ATLANTA (Nov. 11, 2021) – Sage (FTSE: SGE), the market leader in cloud business management solutions, is recognised as a top ranked employer for work-life balance by Glassdoor in both the U.S. and the U.K.
In Glassdoor’s recent report on Employee Burnout in the United States, Sage Intacct ranked sixth on the list of "Highest-Rated Companies for Work-Life Balance During the COVID-19 Pandemic" receiving a score of 4.7 out of 5.0. Likewise, Sage ranked No. 9 on Glassdoor’s list of "Top 10 U.K Employers for Work-Life Balance." For the United States, the latest Glassdoor rankings are based on millions of reviews from full-time U.S-based employees between March 15, 2020, through Sept. 28, 2021. U.K rankings were compiled from 600,000 reviews left by full-time U.K-based employees between Jan. 1, 2021, and Sept. 28, 2021.
During the pandemic, Sage gave employees three paid wellness days to focus on their mental health in addition to their normal allotment of paid time off. In response to the evolution of hybrid working, Sage has rolled out an innovative flexible work framework. Co-designed with colleagues, it offers expanded flexible working options to foster true flexibility and collaboration. Sage also gives colleagues five days of paid volunteering a year as part of its Sustainability and Society strategy. These policies and flexible approach will help Sage to attract and retain the best and most diverse talent across regions.
“Sage is committed to colleague wellbeing and creating a culture which is inclusive and provides opportunities for all. Listening to our colleagues and implementing policies that reflect the changing work environment and colleagues’ needs are essential to that,” said Amanda Cusdin, Chief People Officer at Sage. “We are thrilled to receive this recognition from Glassdoor. Our people teams have worked tirelessly this past year to make sure colleagues have felt supported throughout a very difficult time, and we remain dedicated to that support as we continue to evolve.”
Earlier this year, Sage was named on Best Places to Work 2021 in the U.K, Canada, France, and the U.S. The company also received recognition from Comparably for “Best Global Culture,” “Best HR Teams,” and “Best Places to Work in Atlanta.”
