Sage, the leader in accounting, financial, HR, and payroll technology for small and mid-sized businesses (SMBs), today announces the launch of its global Managed Services programme, bringing Sage Intacct, the award-winning accounting and finance solution, to larger accounting firms.

14 June 2023 – Sage, the leader in accounting, financial, HR, and payroll technology for small and mid-sized businesses (SMBs), today announces the launch of its global Managed Services programme, bringing Sage Intacct, the award-winning accounting and finance solution, to larger accounting firms with growing mid-sized clients worldwide.

The managed services programme represents an important step towards Sage's strategic goals, offering enhanced capabilities to accountancy firms and managed service providers.

Through this programme, Sage equips its partners with innovative technology tools, helping them to streamline their operations, enhance productivity, and deliver improved client services.

By combining advanced technology with expert insights, Sage's programme enables businesses to achieve optimal performance, seize growth opportunities, and create a solid foundation for long-term success.

“Mid-size businesses are increasingly looking to accountancy firms and managed service providers to offer strategic advisory services and outsourced finance. Designed to cater to specific customer needs, our new managed services programme provides a trusted partnership to help businesses scale by taking on bigger clients and offering higher value services. Driven by innovation and powered by Sage Intacct our programme empowers partners to deliver real-time business insights, automate manual tasks and accounting processes, significantly reducing the time required to manage customer finance. This frees up resources, enabling partners to focus on assisting customers in making better-informed strategic decisions and planning for future growth,” says Eduardo Rosini, EVP Partners and Alliances at Sage.

“Over the past year, we have collaborated with early adopter partners and industry experts to ensure our new managed services programme delivers a superior partner experience. We understand that not all customers require the same level of services, so whether our partners simply want to refer a customer to Sage, support them through digital transformation, work on finance alongside their customers or offer full virtual CFO services, our programme has a solution that fits their requirements.”

Sage Intacct addresses critical needs of accountancy firms enabling them to effectively handle the diverse and complex requirements of their clients through deeper, strategic business support. At the same time, with the ability to access and manage client accounts in one place partners can simplify client portfolio management and drive innovation and optimisation within their own operations.

The programme has been launched in the UK, with PwC as the first early adopter.

"Our Finance Managed Service solutions, powered by Sage Intacct, enable organisations to digitally transform and thrive," said Johan Jegerajan, Partner and Consulting CTO for UK & EMEA, and Global Sage Intacct Alliance Leader, PwC UK. "The combination of Sage’s market-leading technology, connected with innovation, automation and the deep industry expertise of our people, creates sustained outcomes and efficiency, now and for the long-term."

Sage Managed Services programme is also available in Canada and South Africa.
