What is virtual reality?

Virtual reality (VR) is the 3D computer simulation of physical objects and space, where users can interact and have sensory experiences. Although the focus on VR has been through consumer applications, VR could also be applied to industries like manufacturing and engineering, allowing users to experience what they create before they’ve been built.
