Impact report 2019: view our success

Sage volunteering increased by 30 per cent and was worth £4.2 million to nonprofits last year. 2019 was the fourth year of doing good in our local communities, and as each year passes, we are able to do more. Last year we helped 292 organisations globally through grants supporting our key pillars: Sage Empowering Women, Sage Inspiring Youth, and Sage Serving Heroes. Our discounted product programme benefitted 549 nonprofits. All this was a significant increase against the year before.

Inspiring young people through the Sage FutureMakers Programme

The fourth industrial revolution is one of the biggest challenges facing young people today. Sage’s FutureMakers programme provides hands-on experiences for young people aged between 13 and 17 to create solutions that combine the human element with machine intelligence. The programme aims to increase the understanding of artificial intelligence and the possibilities it entails, empowering and equipping young people to propose, design and implement innovative technology solutions to address serious social problems.

Join Sage Foundation’s Rainbows for Hope campaign and help us raise funds for the Red Cross

Join the Sage Foundation Rainbows for Hope campaign where we’re challenging our colleagues, customers, business partners and wider community to help us reach a goal of 10,000 rainbows. All you need to do is access the resources we’ve provided, colour in the rainbows with your family (or alone) and send them to us. We’ve made a donation to the Red Cross to further their efforts to fight coronavirus, from medical supplies to emotional support. So, to mark this donation and to give everyone a little bit of hope and happiness, start colouring and send us your rainbows.

CEO Steve Hare’s new challenge - help us donate $2 million by 2022

Partners and customers are invited to join Sage colleagues in our mission to raise $2 million for local charities by 2022. We’re kicking off the challenge through 20 events in 2020.

Choose any challenge you like and support any charity close to your heart. We’ve been climbing mountains in Australia, cycling from London to Paris and riding multi-person bikes around Canadian cities. Danceathons, spinathons, marathons, and anything else you can come up with, are bringing us together, all around the world, to do good.
