Sage Accounting is for solopreneurs and microbusinesses with basic accounting needs who need a simple, light solution to send invoices, track expenses, and reconcile  payments. Sage 50cloud Pastel is a desktop accounting software with more advanced functionality for small businesses with more complex accounting tasks, like managing payroll and inventory.

Sage 50cloud Pastel will be installed directly onto your PC. You’ll have the ability to back-up your data locally, and won’t need to rely on internet connectivity to access your software. Sage 50cloud Pastel can handle large volumes of data, without the time lag. 

Cloud connectivity enables you to access your data remotely via Remote Data Access, so you don’t have to be in the office to review your accounts. You’ll also be able to use a number of time-saving automation features, which will connect with your Sage 50cloud Pastel software directly.

Don't worry about taking backups - Sage 50cloud Pastel can automatically backup and store a copy of your data securely in the cloud. If you'd rather backup locally, you can do that too.

Taking a trial will enable you to install and use the full desktop version of Sage 50cloud Pastel for 30 days. After that, or at any point during, if you decide to go ahead and join Sage 50cloud Pastel, you will be given a new serial number and activation key. Any data you entered will remain and you can simply continue to use.
