There is no sign-up fee or annual subscription cost to join the Referral Network

The Sage Referral Network allows you to get rewarded for passing prospective opportunities to Sage that result in a new subscription to selected solutions such as Sage Intacct, Sage X3, Sage 300. You can supply as many opportunities as you wish, meaning there’s no limit to the number of times you can get rewarded.

You must use our online referral form at Sage.com which will take you through a series of questions which will provide enough information for us to determine if your submission is valid.

Only opportunities that are a new introduction to Sage will be eligible for reward. Every submission will be validated to ensure the prospective customer is not already engaged in an existing opportunity with Sage. We’ll notify you within 10 working days to confirm if your submission has been accepted and passed validation checks.

If Sage completes a sale from your opportunity within a period of 12 months from the date of your referral, we will notify you within 30 days of the date of the sale. You should raise an appropriate invoice in a timely manner after your commission becomes due but no later than three (3) months following this date. We will pay any due commission within 30 days of receipt of a valid invoice.

As standard, you will be paid 10% of the total net revenue to Sage in the first 12 months of the subscription. For example, if your introduction results in a new Sage Intacct sale which has a net value of AUD$12,000 to Sage, you would receive a payment of AUD$1,200.

Once submitted, we’ll contact you to let you know if your introduction has been accepted and validated. We’ll then provide an update if the opportunity has resulted in a new subscription for Sage Intacct, Sage 300 or Sage X3. If no update is provided within 12 months of submission, the opportunity has not been successful.

No – you can submit opportunities for any organisation where you feel a new Sage solution will help to run their business. No matter what software solution they’re using at present, your submission will still be validated in the usual manner.

We’ll only pay commission for opportunities where the prospect customer is not already in discussions about purchasing a software solution from Sage. Note this may or may not be for the Sage solution you have referred the customer to us for. We will check our records to confirm if we have categorised your prospective customer as a genuine introduction and will provide written confirmation within 10 working days of submission.

Yes – we’ll provide you with some supporting documents such as data sheets and product brochures.

Yes. You are free to use the Sage Business Partner logo in your marketing materials in accordance with our Partner Marketing Guidelines. Any materials should make it clear that you’re a referring partner only, will be passing their details to Sage and subsequently, a different supporting partner (or Sage) should they wish to discuss the product further.

If your question relates directly to an introduction that you will be submitting to Sage, please include details of the question in your submission. For example, if your prospect customer isn’t sure if the program can resolve a particular pain point, include that in the details. We can then investigate it further if your submission is validated.

The online referral form allows you to specify a preferred partner to pass your opportunity to. Subject to normal validation rules, as well as our rules of engagement, we’ll pass the opportunity to the partner you specify on the referral form. Where we are unable to pass the opportunity to that partner, we will contact you with further information.

We’ll be happy to introduce you to a partner we feel you would benefit from working with regarding your opportunities. We cannot, however, assist with any agreement you may come to in relation to payment and rewards of opportunities that are successfully closed – these should be discussed solely between yourselves.

Yes! The referral reward we pay you for successfully closed opportunities is the same, regardless of whether you work with a preferred partner or not so you can get paid twice for one opportunity: one payment from Sage and one from your preferred partner.

If you already have your own referral agreements in place with other companies, the Sage Referral Network is a great way to help commercialise your existing relationships. By getting those companies to sign up to the program, Sage will pay them a referral reward for any successfully closed opportunities they refer to you – adding extra value to the agreement you already have in place!

They simply need to specify you as their preferred partner whenever they submit an opportunity to us via the online referral form.
