Laurence is the award-winning founder and CEO of UK-based tech company Pavegen, an pioneering solution that converts kinetic energy from footsteps into off-grid electricity, data and rewards. Launched commercially in 2015, Laurence has scaled Pavegen across the world with over 250 permanent and experiential projects in more than 37 countries. Laurence has worked with the world’s most iconic companies including Volvo, Kia, Citi Bank, Siemens, IKEA, Ford, Westfield, Adidas, Coca-Cola, and Google to capture over 1 billion footsteps on his Pavegen technology. Laurence has secured backing from by leading institutional investors Hinduja Group, Tamar Capital and VC fund Wadi Makkah ventures. Recent highlights include a 6 country deal with Volvo and a 3 year partnership with Ford.
