Accountants empowered by improved data insights as Sage introduces new apps

Accountants and bookkeepers to benefit from better financial and advisory services with new integrated applications on the Sage Marketplace.

London, 8 June 2021 - Sage, the market leader in cloud business management solutions, has today announced the availability of new apps on the Sage Marketplace that will help accountants deliver more value to their clients. The innovative apps are fully integrated with Sage Accounting and designed to automate processes, eliminate errors and empower accountants to focus on higher value data-driven advisory services. 

During the past year, accounting professionals in the UK have seen a surge in demand for a diverse range of business advisory and support services. These trends have surfaced whilst accountants have been navigating legislative changes including Brexit and Making Tax Digital and transforming business processes in response to coronavirus-related challenges. 

Sage’s latest Practice of Now research, which surveyed 3,298 accountants in practice from across the globe, revealed that accountants are rapidly evolving their roles to become ‘change makers’. In total, 82% of accountants say clients are demanding more business advice and consultancy services than ever before.

To elevate accountant’s profile with existing and prospective clients, two new applications fully integrated with Sage Accounting are now available on the Sage Marketplace. These solutions are designed to streamline compliance and financial reporting, provide real-time visibility of clients’ data, and enable accountants to offer actionable insights with valuable business advisory services. 

The apps are made available to customers via Sage’s marketplace of functionality-rich, cloud apps that address the specific needs of accounting professionals today. The new Sage Accounting partner-developed apps now available on the Marketplace to accountants include:

Clarity: The complete business advisory platform that enables accountants to understand client’s data and drive actionable step-by-step guidance on how to increase profitability and accelerate growth.

Silverfin: The connected accounting cloud platform that automates compliance and advisory workflows. The powerful analytics and reporting tools give accountants real-time visibility of their client’s data ensuring they can advise with confidence.
