MTD ITSA is short for Making Tax Digital for Income Tax Self Assessment.
It was the term used to describe Making Tax Digital for Income Tax until it was dropped.
Notably, HMRC does not use the term MTD ITSA any longer, and prefers to call it simply MTD for Income Tax.
