Helping people boss it is our thing.
In fact, over three million businesses use Sage software to nail their numbers, win at admin, and take great care of their teams.
But hey, life isn’t all work (especially when we can save you so much time), so we want to shout out brilliant ‘boss it’ moments of every kind—tough stuff, fun stuff, epic achievements, and small wins.
That’s why we’re running the TikTok #Bossit2021 challenge.
Here’s what you need to know:
What’s the TikTok #Bossit2021 challenge?
Show us how you’re bossing 2021—whether you’ve just boxed up your biggest order yet, laid the final brick in someone’s dream home, dished up dinner to dine for, aced a personal fitness goal, or got parenting on point (small humans or fur babies)!
We’ll share the joy with £10,000 worth of prizes for our favourites, including a £5,000 (or the Euro equivalent) Wish List for one lucky winner to create their ultimate home workspace.
To enter, just use our official #Bossit2021 music track and hashtag on your videos.
You don’t have to hit Follow, but we’d love it if you do.
Have fun, and boss bossing it!
New to TikTok? Here’s how to boss it
First you’ll need to download TikTok on iOS, Android, or from the Amazon Appstore. It’s free to use, so take a look around and get a feel for the site.
To upload your own video(s) you’ll need to make an account. Tap the profile icon in the bottom-right corner of the screen.
Sign up instantly with Facebook, Twitter, or Gmail, or manually with a username and password.
To create a video, tap the + at the bottom of the screen and grant the requested permissions. You can record something new or upload one you made earlier.
To edit, you’ll find sound controls at the top right, and visual editing at the bottom left.
To add the Sage #Bossit2021 music, tap Select Sound at the top right, then search for it by the hashtag and tap the red tick to add it. Use the Mixer tool or Trim to get it just right.
When you’re happy, tap Next. Remember to add our #Bossit2021 hashtag in the text box, and write something about your video if you like.
Tap ‘Who can see this video’ and make sure it’s set to Public, or we won’t be able to see it! And that’s it—post away!

Terms and conditions
These terms and conditions refer to the prize draw (“the TikTok #Bossit2021 challenge”, “the Competition”), brought to you by Sage Global Services Limited, whose registered office is at North Park, Newcastle upon Tyne NE13 9AA (“Sage”, “we”, “us”, “our”).
The TikTok #Bossit2021 challenge is open to permanent residents of the UK and ROI who are over the age of 18. The Competition is not limited to Sage employees and/or customers. By taking part in the Competition, entrants are deemed to accept and be bound by these terms and conditions. Use of TikTok shall be governed by those standard terms and conditions.
By submitting an entry to the Competition, you agree that the submission will not harm Sage (or any Sage group company), or its reputation, or lead to any unwanted or unfavourable publicity.
1. Entry requirements
The Competition will allow participants to create and share their TikTok video to be in with a chance of winning a free prize (“the Prize”)
To enter, participants must create a video showing how they’re bossing 2021 and share it on TikTok to @SageUKI quoting the #BossIt2021 hashtag, or, alternatively, share it on Facebook, Twitter, or Instagram, to @SageUK, again quoting the same hashtag.
To take part in the Competition, you will require access to the internet, and a valid email address. There is a limit of one entry permitted per valid email address.
The Competition will run from 00:01 a.m. on Friday 5th February 2021, to 11:59 p.m. on Sunday 21st February 2021, after which entries will not be considered.
The winner(s) will be selected and chosen by a panel of judges, in their sole discretion, as appointed by Sage. We will notify the winners from 5 p.m. on 23rd February 2021, and winners will be announced on social media after that date.
In the event that you are contacted as a winner, you agree to provide your name, a valid email address, and a valid UK or ROI postal address for the purpose of receiving your prize. If you would like to know more about our general policy on how we use personal details, please see our Privacy Notice.
Sage’s decision is final and binding in all respects on all entrants and no correspondence will be entered into. We do not accept responsibility for entries which fail to reach us before the closing date, or which, for any reason, are incomplete, illegible or corrupted.
If Sage has grounds to suspect any entrant or third party of cheating, deception, or fraudulent or unsporting conduct of any kind (including, without limitation, manipulating the Competition or any entry), Sage reserves the right (in its sole discretion) to disqualify any entrant, entry, or person it reasonably believes to be responsible for, or associated with, such activity.
There are various prizes available to be won and these are supplied by Sage and various third parties. Prizes available to win will vary in type, partner, and value. There will be various volumes of each prize available to win.

4. How we will use your entry
If you enter the Competition, we will use any video recordings, stills, and/or photographs (“Images”) you provide for the purposes of administering the Competition and judging the entries. With your consent, we will also publish the winning Images on Sage’s social media platforms and internally within Sage for the purposes of selecting a winner.
After the Competition has taken place, all submitted entry Images will be deleted promptly except for the winning Images which will remain accessible on YourSage and the designated Microsoft Teams page for one month. Sage shall not be liable for any use of the video by TikTok and is governed separately by TikTok’s standard terms and conditions. Sage shall not be liable for any use of the video by any TikTok user.
We may need to share your details with our agents or contractors who help us to run our marketing and promotional activities. If you do not consent to such use of your details please do not enter the prize draw. If you would like to know more about our general policy on how we use personal details, please see our Privacy Notice.
By submitting an entry, you agree to co-operate with us for publicity purposes free of charge, which may include the publication (including on the internet) of your name, the name of the organisation you work for and your photograph in the announcement of the result.
We need to know that all elements of your entry are your own independent work, and that you have not copied anyone else’s work, otherwise we won’t be able to use it, so by submitting your entry, you confirm that this is the case.
We want to make sure that we can use your entry as widely as possible (including making the entries available to the general public via the internet), so, when you enter this challenge, you agree that all intellectual property rights in your entry will belong to us and that at our request (and of course at our expense), you will sign any documents and take any other action which we think necessary to transfer the intellectual property rights to us. Intellectual property rights are the rights an owner has to say how certain things, like music, videos, and software, may be used.
You also waive any personal rights you may have regarding your entry—personal rights are the rights personal to the creator of a work, which cannot be bought, sold or transferred. You agree that we may decide at our discretion how the material you submit may be used from time to time. Of course, we are not obliged to publish, or otherwise make available, any element of your entry.
Sage reserves the right to change these terms and conditions from time to time and/or withdraw the Competition at any time without notice.
These terms and conditions (and all non-contractual claims and disputes) are governed by English law and by entering the prize draw you agree that the courts of England shall have exclusive jurisdiction of any such claims or disputes which arise out of or in connection with this prize draw.
