Thursday 2nd Feb – London, United Kingdom
As Official Insights Partner of Six Nations Rugby, Sage will be bringing fans closer to the game than ever before, by providing real-time data and analysis to millions of viewers.
For the first time a smart ball will be used in both the Guinness Six Nations and TikTok Women’s Six Nations. Helping enhance the fans experience, exciting in-match statistics will be brought to life across comprehensive broadcast and social media coverage.
Presented by Sage, the innovative smart ball was used during the 2022 Autumn Nations Series and will be capturing even more metrics during the forthcoming Championships. During the Guinness Six Nations and TikTok Women’s Six Nations, the smart ball will now assess a particular player’s individual performance and compare it to their opposite number.
Sage will work with Tik Tok to co-create an eight-part content series, designed to give fans greater access to insight and data. The Sage ‘Insightful Discussions’ content series, jointly produced with Six Nations Rugby, brings together some of the most recognisable and respected names from the men’s and women’s games to offer their personal insights.
Cath Keers, CMO, Sage said: “As Official Insights Partner, our focus throughout this partnership has been to bring better insights and data to the game and its fans. It has been great to see this come to life with the smart ball data during the recent Autumn Nations Series.
“We are committed to enhancing the fan experience and our partnership with Tik Tok will allow us to do that – by making data and insights more human and accessible.”
The partnership with Six Nations Rugby follows Sage’s successful integration as Official Insights Partner to The Hundred, in cricket, and with Major League Baseball in North America.
