Sage Copilot is designed to seamlessly integrate into your workflow, offering AI-powered assistance to help automate tasks, surface key insights, and simplify business management. The availability of Sage Copilot depends on the Sage product you use and the subscription plan you’re on. Here’s how you can access it:

  • Included in select subscription plans – Copilot is embedded in certain Sage product plans, meaning you can start using it right away as part of your subscription.
  • Available as an add-on: if your plan doesn’t include Copilot, you may have the option to add it to your Sage product for an additional cost.

Sage Copilot is easy to use. You don't need any technical expertise because it does all the hard work for you. Sage Copilot uses adaptive learning algorithms to analyse your business processes and decision-making patterns. Over time, it tailors its functionalities to align with your business needs and goals.

*Sage ran a study with 570 small businesses (532) and accountants (38) with between 0-49 employees. Respondents were a mix of Sage customers (145) and non-Sage customers (387) who currently use Accounting software. Each respondent saw a demo of the new Sage Copilot capabilities along with descriptions of how each capability will help. They were then asked how much additional time they would save per week with the help of the new capabilities – each respondent responded with estimated time saved per week per capability. Capabilities judged:

  1. Invoicing: Speeds up communication, creates engaging business emails for sending invoices, credit notes, quotes or invoice reminders. Response: Average 2.1 hours per week / 9 hours per month / 1.14 days per month

  2. Reports: Automates your reporting builds, schedules, and sends reports based on the information you need, without manual intervention. Response: Average 1.9 hours per week /8.23 hours per month / 1.03 days per month

  3. Chasing payment: Helps manage late payers reviews customer compliance with payment terms, identifies and chases overdue invoices. Response: Average 2.1 hours per week /9 hours per month / 1.14 days per month

  4. Admin: Automates accounts payable automatically creates and assigns Purchase Orders, uploads invoices from and pays suppliers. Helps manage late payers reviews customer compliance with payment terms, identifies and chases overdue invoices. Speeds up communication creates engaging business emails for sending invoices, credit notes, quotes, or invoice reminders. Response: 6.1 hours per week / 27.28 hours per month / 3.41 days per month

**Sage also ran an in-depth study with 28 small businesses. Respondents were given a thorough induction to Sage Copilot including being shown a product demo. Respondents gave their general feedback on the functionality and benefits of Sage Copilot. This included how Sage Copilot could impact their businesses and the way they work.
