Handmade passion, admin pressure
As pioneers of artisanal vegan cheese in the UK, Tyne Chease built their reputation on naturally fermented, cashew-based cheeses. But running a small food business meant every hour counted, and admin was taking over. Chasing late invoices became the biggest time drain, with payments often up to a week late. Cash flow suffered and paperwork piled up, leaving little space to focus on growth. They even had to turn down supermarkets because they couldn’t deliver at scale while buried in admin.
