Hope’s Home provides vital, skilled, compassionate care for children with complex medical needs. Founded in 2005 the organization has since grown to four locations with more than 300 employees and a $15m budget. Outgrowing its legacy accounting software, the nonprofit wanted a modern cloud-based solution that would support its digital transformation plans.

To a nonprofit, every penny is gold. We learned enough about Sage Intacct to know it had the potential to generate a solid return on investment for Hope’s Home.

Paperless automated workflows

The digitalization of the organization’s purchasing workflows has delivered some of the most significant benefits. Previously, purchasing was an entirely manual process with email requests flying around and no organized way to track requests or approvals. Now, the purchasing workflow is wholly paperless and automated, speeding processing times and improving accuracy.

As a result, we’ve gained better visibility into our spending across locations which helps us optimize our purchases and minimize waste.

Intelligent reporting delivers insights and boosts collaboration

Reporting had always been challenging for Hope’s Home using its legacy system, having to export data and import it into Excel to create reports. With Sage Intacct, powered by Amazon Web Services (AWS), the organization has eliminated the spreadsheets and is able to create the exact reports it needs from within Sage Intacct.

We can also easily share the reports with internal and external stakeholders, improving communication and collaboration.
