In 2012, Simpli Home moved into e-commerce, to grow sales. Their success was so great—up to 100% over forecast—their accounting system buckled. With interests in multiple countries, Simpli Home needed a robust, multi-currency platform that would help the company keep up with its own growth. They chose Sage for its ability to streamline high-volume, multi-currency transactions.

Meeting the demands of international e-commerce

Simpli Home worked with a Sage partner to ensure successful, seamless integration with their electronic data interface (EDI) platform. Increased volume also required more control over inventory and costing, which was met by Sage 300’s ability to generate multi-warehouse costing with landed cost modules. The new system also provided greater data security and reporting capacity.

With Sage 300, Simpli Home has scaled to meet unprecedented demand. Seamless integration with EDI permits thousands of daily transactions in multiple locations and currencies, and real-time data cuts work hours. Going forward, Simpli Home’s leadership team plans to dig deeper into the Sage Enterprise Intelligence functionality for even greater gains in efficiency and optimization.
