Prior to 2015 i could do my payroll manually and i had few problems – nothing that i couldn’t correct myself. i didn’t need to buy expensive software. now hmrc insist that i have to use SAGE or another software company. this has caused me endless problems, poor sage support and now costs me money to comply with a government ruling. great for sage, great for hmrc – not great for the employer.
this payroll software should be free of charge. rip-off.
