Helping people boss it is our thing.
In fact, more than three million businesses use Sage software to nail their numbers, win at admin, and take great care of their teams.
But hey, business doesn’t happen by magic, does it?
That’s why we’re running the TikTok #SageTellMe challenge.
We want you to tell us you’re a small business owner– without telling us you are a small business owner.
Think you can manage it?
By entering, we’ll be able to give a shout out to you and all the brilliant small business owners working hard to boss it every day.
Tell us your story with small business moments of every kind – ’bossing’ the tough stuff, the fun stuff, the day-to-day stuff, the epic achievements, and the small wins.
Here’s what you need to know:
What’s the TikTok #SageTellMe challenge?
As a small business owner, we bet you’re bossing everything, from orders and invoicing to stock control and shipping – and everything in between.
But do you think you can tell us that without telling us?
And that’s the TikTok #SageTellMe challenge – we want you to tell us you’re a small business owner without telling us you’re a small business owner.
Share you story whichever way you know how!
In return, we’ll share the joy with a £2,000 (or the euro equivalent) Wish List for one lucky winner to create their ultimate home workspace.
To enter, just use our official #SageTellMe music track and hashtag on your videos.
You don’t have to hit Follow, but we’d love it if you do.
Have fun, and boss bossing it!
New to TikTok? Here’s how to boss it
First, you need to download TikTok on iOS, Android, or from the Amazon Appstore. It’s free to use, so take a look around and get a feel for the site.
To upload your own video(s) you need to make an account. Tap the profile icon in the bottom-right corner of the screen.
Sign up instantly with Facebook, Twitter, or Gmail, or manually with a username and password.
To create a video, tap the + at the bottom of the screen and grant the requested permissions. You can record something new or upload one you made earlier.
To edit, you’ll find sound controls at the top right, and visual editing at the bottom left.
To add the Sage #Bossit2021 music, tap Select Sound at the top right, then search for it by the hashtag and tap the red tick to add it. Use the Mixer tool or Trim to get it just right.
When you’re happy, tap Next. Remember to add our #SageTellMe hashtag in the text box and write something about your video if you like.
Tap ‘Who can see this video’ and make sure it’s set to Public, or we won’t be able to see it. And that’s it – post away!

By submitting an entry to the Competition, you agree that the submission will not harm Sage (or any Sage group company), or its reputation, or lead to any unwanted or unfavourable publicity.

In the event that you are contacted as a winner, you agree to provide your name, a valid email address, and a valid UK or ROI postal address for the purpose of receiving your prize. If you would like to know more about our general policy on how we use personal details, please see our Privacy Notice.
Sage’s decision is final and binding in all respects on all entrants and no correspondence will be entered into. We do not accept responsibility for entries which fail to reach us before the closing date, or which, for any reason, are incomplete, illegible or corrupted.
If Sage has grounds to suspect any entrant or third party of cheating, deception, or fraudulent or unsporting conduct of any kind (including, without limitation, manipulating the Competition or any entry), Sage reserves the right (in its sole discretion) to disqualify any entrant, entry, or person it reasonably believes to be responsible for, or associated with, such activity.
The prize(s) are subject to the terms and conditions of the manufacturer or supplier and all product warranties, guarantees, or other representations in relation to the prize(s) are as provided by the manufacturer or supplier. We will not be liable for any non-compatibility of the prize(s) with any other product or service.

For winners in the UK and ROI
The winner is advised to check and is responsible for any tax implications which may arise as a result of accepting prize(s).
Prizes are subject to availability. Sage reserves the right to substitute the prize (or any part of it) for a prize or prizes of equivalent or greater monetary value if this is necessary for reasons beyond its control, otherwise the prize is non-transferable, non-negotiable and cannot be substituted, exchanged or transferred for any other gift, voucher or cash alternative.
If a winner chooses to cancel their prize or suffers damage/loss to their prize, or, in the event that, following confirmation of acceptance of the Prize, the winner is unable to accept the prize, the prize will be withdrawn and/or no replacement prize will be issued.
Prizes cannot be reinstated if expired, lost or stolen. Sage accepts no responsibility for any costs associated with the selected prizes. Unsuccessful participants will have no claim or action whatsoever against Sage, its agents, employees or agencies as a result of participating in the Competition.
3. Our liability to you
Although we will try our best to make sure that the Competition runs smoothly, we reserve the right to cancel the Competition at any time if relevant circumstances arise outside our control.
We shall not be liable to you if you suffer any loss or damage by entering the Competition (including without limitation any loss of profits, loss of revenue, loss of goodwill that arises out of or in connection with your participation in the Competition) or from our refusal to allow you take part in the Competition or our withdrawal of the Competition or any other failure or inability by you to participate in or benefit from the Competition for any reason.
Nothing in these terms and conditions excludes or limits our liability in respect of personal injury or death caused by our negligence, or for fraud.
4. How we will use your entry
If you enter the Competition, we will use any video recordings, stills, and/or photographs (“Images”) you provide for the purposes of administering the Competition and judging the entries. With your consent, we will also publish the winning Images on Sage’s social media platforms and internally within Sage for the purposes of selecting a winner.
After the Competition has taken place, all submitted entry Images will be deleted promptly except for the winning Images which will remain accessible on YourSage and the designated Microsoft Teams page for one month. Sage shall not be liable for any use of the video by TikTok and is governed separately by TikTok’s standard terms and conditions. Sage shall not be liable for any use of the video by any TikTok user.
We may need to share your details with our agents or contractors who help us to run our marketing and promotional activities. If you do not consent to such use of your details please do not enter the prize draw. If you would like to know more about our general policy on how we use personal details, please see our Privacy Notice.
By submitting an entry, you agree to co-operate with us for publicity purposes free of charge, which may include the publication (including on the internet) of your name, the name of the organisation you work for and your photograph in the announcement of the result.
We need to know that all elements of your entry are your own independent work, and that you have not copied anyone else’s work, otherwise we won’t be able to use it, so by submitting your entry, you confirm that this is the case.
We want to make sure that we can use your entry as widely as possible (including making the entries available to the general public via the internet), so, when you enter this challenge, you agree that all intellectual property rights in your entry will belong to us and that at our request (and of course at our expense), you will sign any documents and take any other action which we think necessary to transfer the intellectual property rights to us. Intellectual property rights are the rights an owner has to say how certain things, like music, videos, and software, may be used.
You also waive any personal rights you may have regarding your entry—personal rights are the rights personal to the creator of a work, which cannot be bought, sold or transferred. You agree that we may decide at our discretion how the material you submit may be used from time to time. Of course, we are not obliged to publish, or otherwise make available, any element of your entry.
Sage reserves the right to change these terms and conditions from time to time and/or withdraw the Competition at any time without notice.
These terms and conditions (and all non-contractual claims and disputes) are governed by English law and by entering the prize draw you agree that the courts of England shall have exclusive jurisdiction of any such claims or disputes which arise out of or in connection with this prize draw.
